Round Glass Top Coffee Table

This coffee table is constructed using bent and tapered laminations. This is one of my production pieces and is available as a commission in a wide range of woods. I originally designed the table while taking a class with Michael Fortune at Rosewood Studio and then built the first two of them while I was a student at Inside Passage, one out of Ash, and one out of Bubinga. I currently have a couple more tables under way, one using Black Cherry and one using Black Walnut. No pictures are available yet for those.

This picture shows a closeup of one of the legs of the Bubinga table. The legs are bent and tapered, with the bottom of the leg being thicker than the top of the leg.
