About Me
I design and build custom furniture from my woodworking studio in British Columbia, Canada.
Woodworking was just a hobby for me for many years. I took some short courses at Rosewood Studio School of Fine Woodworking in Almonte Ontario, and also some Windsor Chair making courses with John Robinson in Kettleby Ontario. Then I decided to get more serious about woodworking and turn it into a second career, so I attended a 9-month program at Inside Passage School of Fine Cabinetmaking in Roberts Creek, British Columbia. After attending Inside Passage, I opened my own woodworking studio and now work full-time building and selling custom furniture.
In what now seems like a former lifetime, I attended Queen's University in Kingston Ontario, where I graduated with a degree in Engineering Physics. After graduating, I worked in the electronics industry for many years doing hardware and software design of routers and other types of networking equipment.
Contact me if you'd like to purchase one of my pieces of furniture or if you'd like to commission a custom piece.
